Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully, by purchasing goods and/or services from Plugzz you accept these terms and conditions.
Service & Process
1. We will agree a time for to undertake
otoscopy (professional examination of individual or workforce’s
ears).
2. If audiologically suitable, safe impressioning of ears will be carried
out (time taken approx 15 mins per individual / employee).
3. Advice will be given to those individuals/employees who are medically
unsuitable for impressioning at that time i.e. prohibitive wax or outer
ear infection .
4. Impressions sent for processing into customised hearing defenders
will take on average between 2-3 weeks to manufacture. Despatch will
only be made when payment has cleared.
5. Delivery will be by first class post, with full fitting and care
instructions.
6. With all products no liability will be accepted in the event of the
care instructions not being followed.
7. Copywritten custom-made products carry a 12 month guarantee against
material defects but this does not cover damage caused by misuse or
deliberate tampering with the product or by ingress of foreign materials.
8. We accept no responsibility for lost or stolen goods during delivery.
In corporate situations the following applies.
9. If fitting is required, the company
will be contacted upon completion of manufacture of the Protecthear
defenders to arrange instructed fitting and comfort check.
10. If for any reason, minor modifications are required these can be
carried out on site at the time of fitting (where appropriate).
11. Incidental maintenance can be agreed on a chargeable basis.
Pricing policy
1. Prices quoted are in £ sterling.
This includes delivery, postage and packing with fitting instruction
leaflet .
2. All prices quoted are currently exempt from VAT.
3. All products remain the property of Plugzz until payment is made
in full.
4. A non-returnable deposit secures your order.
5. Payment methods for individuals are cash and/or cheque only.
6. In corporate situations, payment is via company cheque or via Bacs
on agreed date to coincide with the fitting, or prior to manufacture
in postal returns situations.
7. None of these Terms and Conditions affect your Statutory Rights.
